The policy clarifies the procedure of introducing the evidence of medical reports, statements, or healthcare provider records by an affidavit in the general district court (Openstates, n.d.). The bill supports the reasonableness and use of medical bills. The bill supports plaintiffs to use present original bills from a healthcare facility in cases of personal injuries, wrongful death, or medical expense benefits payable by motor vehicle insurance.
