The influence of technology on the five elements of a service-delivery system has increased dramatically in complexity and urgency for which customers better quality products at lower prices. To maximize value to the customer, it is essential to understand the expectations, wants, and needs of the customer or the voice of the customer.

According to Collier and Evans (2019), the voice of the customer “is the customer requirements, as expressed in the customer’s own words” (sect. 5.2). These expectations reflect the customer needs for specific design and quality elements to add value to the customer experience while addressing the individual needs of the product’s specifications.

As stated, the introduction and evolving use of technology have provided valuable insight into customer requirements and expectations. Examining customer purchasing behavior provides valuable insight into the need and requirements of customers based on demographics, region, gender, age, and other important factors to effectively market and design products tailored to maximize value for specific customer target segments.

This data is generally collected through direct means such as purchasing behavior to identify customer needs through online surveys for new product expectations or customer feedback through social media sites and company websites (Ponsignon et al., 2007). Evaluating feedback and customer requirements through collected data provides the voice of the customer, which organizations can use to improve, innovate and design products that provide maximum customer value at cost-efficient production methods.

You must proofread your paper. But do not strictly rely on your computer’s spell-checker and grammar-checker; failure to do so indicates a lack of effort on your part and you can expect your grade to suffer accordingly. Papers with numerous misspelled words and grammatical mistakes will be penalized. Read over your paper – in silence and then aloud – before handing it in and make corrections as necessary. Often it is advantageous to have a friend proofread your paper for obvious errors. Handwritten corrections are preferable to uncorrected mistakes.

Use a standard 10 to 12 point (10 to 12 characters per inch) typeface. Smaller or compressed type and papers with small margins or single-spacing are hard to read. It is better to let your essay run over the recommended number of pages than to try to compress it into fewer pages.

Likewise, large type, large margins, large indentations, triple-spacing, increased leading (space between lines), increased kerning (space between letters), and any other such attempts at “padding” to increase the length of a paper are unacceptable, wasteful of trees, and will not fool your professor.

The paper must be neatly formatted, double-spaced with a one-inch margin on the top, bottom, and sides of each page. When submitting hard copy, be sure to use white paper and print out using dark ink. If it is hard to read your essay, it will also be hard to follow your argument
