Creative Project: Select an article from a scholarly research journal within the last five years that addresses a topic related to cultural competency in health care. Identify one of the following: The main idea of the article, the feeling you experienced when reading or reflecting on the article, or an aspect of the article that has left a lasting impression on you. Then, create an original creative expression that captures the idea, feeling, or impression you had when you read the article. An original project is created by you, not found on the internet. I do not want to see a screen shot or an uploaded video from YouTube created by someone else. This should be created by you. Original creative expressions can be any of the following:

The APA reference of the Scholarly research journal article cited in APA (No caps in title other than first letter of first word). Please use your APA reference book. The article must be within the last five years.
Copy and paste the abstract from the selected article that is provided by the authors of your article.
In your own words, provide an explanation of the idea, feeling, or impression that you experienced upon reading the article. (One paragraph of 3-8 sentences).
Describe why you created your selected original creative expression (one paragraph of 3-8 sentences).
Drop Box must include the original creative expression you selected or created. This may be the creative expression itself or a picture/video of it.
To summarize, in a Word document, you will start with a title page. On the second page, you will have the title of your paper on the top bold and centered. Then you will have the copied abstract from your article of choice and pasted it over into your Word document. Make sure the font and size all match (Times New Roman, size 12, double spacing). Then one paragraph explaining what you learned/felt from the article. Why is it important to cultural competence or humility? The next paragraph explains your project and how the project projects what you learned from the article. Then you finish the document on the last and separate “Reference” page with your article’s APA reference or any other references you may have used if applicable. This assignment is meant to be an enjoyable way for creative expression!
