1) Respiratory illnesses/disorders are some of the scarier issues one faces when reminded of one’s own mortality. They often cause the feeling of suffocation or being unable to catch one’s breath. State an illness, disease, or disorder. How does it compromise the respiratory system? What can be done to remedy the situation if there is a remedy? If not, what can be done to make the person more comfortable?

Many poisons interfere with the ability of the respiratory system to effectively function. Poisons come in many forms. Some act quickly while others kill after long-term exposure. Some poisons can be inhaled, others injected. Some poisons are only poisons when abused, such as those used during surgery. Name a poison that negatively affects the respiratory system. State how it interferes with the respiratory system specifically and what corrective action can be taken to remedy the negative effects, assuming that it is possible to reverse the effects of the poison.

Use a standard 10 to 12 point (10 to 12 characters per inch) typeface. Smaller or compressed type and papers with small margins or single-spacing are hard to read. It is better to let your essay run over the recommended number of pages than to try to compress it into fewer pages.
