Exercise can be beneficial for every individual. As one ages our metabolism slows down, this can lead to weight gain, heart problems, and cholesterol problems. Exercise can help control blood pressure, strengthens heart, lower stress levels, and manage weight.

It is important to incorporate physical activity in our lives, especially as we age. The lack of physical activity increase the risks of illnesses. Most illnesses are seen in middle age individuals, therefore we need to start making changes. Making changes indeed can be difficult. There are many different types of activities one can do to stay active. One should always get doctors clearance before starting any exercise program. Incorporating the things one likes to do into a exercise routine will probably work the best. One can work alone, with friends, or family. The American Heart Association recommends brisk activity such as walking 40 minutes 3 to 4 times a week. It is important to warm up and cool down for at least for 10 minutes. According to Dallas, 2012 routine activities such as brisk walking, biking, housework, gardening, and other vigorous activity help decrease markers of inflammation. These markers are known as creatine protein & interleukin 6. This markers are related to heart disease. The greater the markers the greater the chances of acquiring heart problems. Exercise also helps maintain weight and decreases stress levels. Decreasing stress will help one feel better as well as help deal with issues or problems.

As nurses we have the duty to educate patients about risks and provide resources needed. Nurses first need to determine patients readiness to make changes. Once that is established, one needs to determine patients likes and tolerance. Incorporating patients likes with a exercise routine will achieve greater adherence and success. Patients family can also be used as support. The nurse and patient create a plan together. Patients need to be told to start off slow, then advance as tolerated. They need to be aware of the signs of injury as well as the treatments they can use in case of injury.

Exercise is very important for every individual. Exercise has many benefits. Exercise will not only decrease individula’s health risks, but will also decrease economic spending. This can lead to lesser health burden.

You must proofread your paper. But do not strictly rely on your computer’s spell-checker and grammar-checker; failure to do so indicates a lack of effort on your part and you can expect your grade to suffer accordingly. Papers with numerous misspelled words and grammatical mistakes will be penalized. Read over your paper – in silence and then aloud – before handing it in and make corrections as necessary. Often it is advantageous to have a friend proofread your paper for obvious errors. Handwritten corrections are preferable to uncorrected mistakes.

Use a standard 10 to 12 point (10 to 12 characters per inch) typeface. Smaller or compressed type and papers with small margins or single-spacing are hard to read. It is better to let your essay run over the recommended number of pages than to try to compress it into fewer pages.

Likewise, large type, large margins, large indentations, triple-spacing, increased leading (space between lines), increased kerning (space between letters), and any other such attempts at “padding” to increase the length of a paper are unacceptable, wasteful of trees, and will not fool your professor.

The paper must be neatly formatted, double-spaced with a one-inch margin on the top, bottom, and sides of each page. When submitting hard copy, be sure to use white paper and print out using dark ink. If it is hard to read your essay, it will also be hard to follow your argument.
